About Us
November 7, 2007
Since its inception YouthStorm.com has been active in building bridges between local service organizations and those needing those services. YS.com has accomplished this goal in many arenas. Through our relationships in New England, YS.com was on the move shortly after hurricane Katrina hit the gulf coast area to bring direct relief to those affected. Some services rendered by YS.com included but were not limited to: food distribution, organization and setup of food and clothing distribution centers, distribution of medical necessities, furniture removal and clean up of homes directly affected by the flooding. YS.com served over 1200 people a day while in Biloxi, MS!
YS.com was also a main instrument in organizing local relief to flood victims of the Merrimack Valley (Spring ‘06) by way of some basic material needs such as soap, toothpaste, shoes, and toilet paper. These items were hand delivered to areas most affected by the flooding. We hand delivered over 100 boxes to needy families! As an advocate for the accurate handling and distribution of goods and resources, YouthStorm takes an active role in distributing our own resources by way of donation of goods and/or services. On a weekly basis YS.com engages their relationships with food pantries, community centers, churches, and other organizations to bring much needed assistance to the “front door” of those who are most in need. Through our many relationships YS.com is a resource! YS.com is committed to building self- sustained communities regardless of race, religion, color, gender, or economic background.
